Equipped to speak. Sent to heal.
Do you want to get better at taking Jesus public? The QC Academy is a one-year formation program in theology and apologetics designed to help committed Christians grow in public witness and have better God conversations wherever God has placed them.
Christianity is being questioned everywhere: in classrooms, churches, workplaces, universities, hospitals, homes, and online. Many Christians love Jesus and care deeply about people but feel underprepared when the questions become difficult.
The QC Academy exists to help committed Christians grow into wise, clear, and faithful communicators of the Christian story.
This one-year program is designed to multiply healthy evangelism and raise up a new generation of Christians who can commend and defend the gospel like Jesus with wisdom, courage, humility, and hope.
The questions are coming…
Who the Academy is for:
The Academy is designed for Christians who are already committed to Jesus, actively involved in a local church, and eager to grow in evangelism.
You do not need to be a professional speaker. Over the years, our cohorts have included senior pastors, medical professionals, teachers, ministry apprentices, fighter pilots, engineers, academics, chaplains, campus workers, lawyers, and others.
What they share is not the same job title but a shared love for Jesus, a heart for people, and a desire to communicate the Christian story more clearly in the places God has already called them.
IS THIS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU?
The QC Academy is probably not for everyone. It is not just an online course, a public speaking workshop, or an academic theology program. It requires reading, reflection, coaching, practice, residential retreats, and active participation. It is designed for teachable Christians who are willing to be formed, not just informed.
This Academy may not be for you if:
You are mainly looking for an academic theology course.
You are hoping for a quick public speaking workshop.
You are unwilling to invest time in reading, reflection, and practice.
You are not currently engaged in the life and mission of a local church.
You are not open to coaching, feedback, or being challenged.
You may be a good fit if:
You love Jesus and want others to know him.
You are actively involved in your local church.
You have a growing heart for evangelism.
You regularly find yourself in conversations where thoughtful answers matter.
You want to grow in clarity, courage, humility, and wisdom.
You are willing to be coached and stretched over the course of a year.
“Participating in the QC Speaker Academy was a powerful experience—not just for the content and evidence we explored, but for the way it was presented with such a pastoral heart. I’ve gained far more confidence in articulating what I believe and why it matters.”

The four movements:
How the year works:
The Academy is built around a rhythm of teaching, discussion, coaching, practice, and community.
Students participate in:
Fortnightly Zoom gatherings during term time
Reflective reading across theology, apologetics, evangelism, and culture
Individual coaching once per term
Practical milestones that develop real communication skills
Two residential training retreats in Byron Bay
Opportunities to connect with alumni and visiting public Christians
This is not passive content consumption. The Academy is designed to help students build a practical ministry toolbox they can draw from long after the program ends.
Costs, dates, & other info:
The total cost for the annual program is $2,000, billed as four termly payments of $500. This includes teaching, resources, accommodation, and food for both annual retreats.
The only additional costs are travel to and from Byron Bay for the retreats. The QC team will help coordinate transfers where possible.

If this sounds like the next step God may be inviting you into, we would love to hear your story. Applications are reviewed prayerfully. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Because the Academy involves personal coaching, cohort dynamics, and intentional formation, places are limited. Applicants are considered based on suitability, teachability, commitment, ministry involvement, and the overall shape of the cohort.
